Not too far past the Science Center is the Liberty House, a trendy restaurant. From there, you have an unforgettable view of Manhattan Skyline. You can soak it in while you indulge in a hearty seafood or steak dinner.
New York Attractions
There are many nearby attractions in Manhattan and New Jersey that include Wall Street, Times Square, and the Statue of Liberty. Even if the finance isn’t your forte, there are some fantastic bars and restaurants in the Financial District to check out. There is also a great photo-op in front of the famous Bull statue. Not far from Wall Street lies the One World Trade Center. It’s home to The Oculus, an upscale mall for the refined shopper. It even includes a pasta store and wine bar.
No trip to New York City would be complete without a visit to Times Square. This is an amazing entertainment district with many shops, restaurants, and theater options for you to enjoy. It can get busy here, so make sure you plan this stop accordingly.
While most of these attractions are within walking distance of each other, if you’re running out of steam, it’s easy to take the subway or taxi where you need to go. Don’t forget about ride-sharing apps like Uber or Lyft. Those services are everywhere in the city, so you won’t have to wait long to get picked up.
