Subway is another big company that has added cryptocurrency to its payment method. They have joined the league of companies that accept bitcoin by allowing bitcoins to be exchanged for meal items. It is not yet certain whether they will be adding other coins such as Litecoin, Ethereum, Tether, and others.

PayPal accepts bitcoin as a form of payment. They facilitate payment through processors such as BitPay, Coinbase, and GoCoin. PayPal is one of the first companies to accept bitcoin payment for transactions completed through its platform. It is one of the safest and secure systems for online transactions worldwide.

There is a high chance that they might accept other cryptocurrencies in the future.

Shopify

The leading e-commerce platform is also part of the cryptocurrency wave. And the best part is that you can set up your online shop through Shopify and accept bitcoin payments. The e-commerce giants began accepting bitcoin as early as 2013. Shopify plans to extend this feature to other cryptocurrencies as well.

As of today, they only accept bitcoin, but this might change in the nearest future.

Microsoft

Microsoft was one of the first companies to accept bitcoin since as far back as 2014. But they later announced that they will stop accepting only to reverse the decision a few hours later. In 2016, the company made a similar decision, which was overturned as well. The reason for this back and forth by Microsoft has been attributed to the volatility of the cryptocurrency market.
